Rescued: Deccember 20/2011

Post adoption update: thanks again for giving Maggie in our care! This is to tell you that things are going smooth beyond even our optimistic expectations, and the girls are really good together. Flannery was hard to keep out of her preferred sunbathing room, it was also heartbreaking to her Maggie cry when we would close the door, so we just sat there together and kept a watch over the long weekend, everyone getting used to one another. And so we have witnessed a swift change from the initial shock and careful distance via hisses and non-aggressive "leave-me-alone-now" demonstrations on Flannery's part to almost entwining tails as they walk around the house now! Maggie responded beautifully to another feline, jumping out at once from her hiding (only to get hissed at, initially :)), so it made us wonder if she would ever deepen her relationship with humans. But she is warming up to us steadily and visibly. She's shy and she's alert whenever out of "her" green carpet, but she's caring and loveable, loves chasing corks and feathers and really enjoys cuddling when she's in the mood and then she purrs like a little tractor! We're both really happy and the cats seem genuinely to enjoy each other's company. We'll surely let you know again before the end of the "trial", but I just wanted to share this splendid news already :)

Rescued: January 17/2011

Adoption Bio: Life isn’t always full of cat nip and scratching posts for some of us kitties. None of us get to choose who we live with. I certainly didn’t. My name is Abby and I ended up with a lady who had me and a WHOLE bunch of my friends living a pretty sad and crowded life. I lost a lot of my good buddies who I miss. But it looks like I just won the lottery! I get to go live with a family who will take great care of me and show me how cats are supposed to live. There is a little problem though – I just haven’t managed to find that family yet. Thought I would try this ‘online dating’ thing and see if I can find my perfect partner! So here it goes, the part where I tell you a little about me and let you know what I am looking for (I decided to be really picky about who my next long term relationship will be with). I love other kitties, soaking up the rays in the window sill and fine dining. I am looking for someone who is understanding of my past and of my needs. I have a problem with my liver so who knows how long I have but I am in pretty awesome shape right now, if you ask me! My perfect partner should also LOVE kitties and preferably be in a long term relationship with one already but it is ok if not, be a good cook, enjoy lazy weekends on the couch, sleeping in and giving massages. So there it is, I am all done. Gonna hit enter and wait by the computer for all the replies to come pouring in. I mean, look at me, I AM beautiful!

About Me: Petie Puce has loved and loss, at 11 years old she has learned a lot about life. If she could talk, she would probably have a whole lot of wisdom to share with us. Maybe she could save us all some time, and tell us what life is really all about. She would have stories of adventure, love, courage, loss, dreams and accomplishments. She is a wise-old-lady who has found herself homeless, when her last companion passed away and left her without a best friend. Petite Puce is no regular-dog, she knows more about life than most of us. Whoever adopts her will be one lucky person, unlike having to teach a puppy all about the world, Petite Puce has been there, done that and has a lot to teach you instead.

Petite Puce may be a senior citizen, but don't let that fool you. She is healthy, full or spunk, energy and love! if she was a human senior citizen, she would be the senior that is still an active member of the tennis club, volunteers at the local hospital, organizes knitting groups and pot-luck lunches. She may be elder, but she is bursting at the seems with life. She is looking for a home to share her golden years with, which could be just a few or could easily be 5 or more years. Like any in-shape senior, she sure loves her walks around neighbourhood! She could speed walk all day, if you can keep up with her. Walking helps her feel young, and active, and without them she feels restless. She gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids, but her preference is a loving human that can be active with her. She is your right-hand-gal, if you want someone to read books with, speed walk with, cozy up on the couch with or go on road trips to visit grandchildren or family with, this spunky old lady is sure up to it! She's got a whole bucket list to complete before her time is up, like hike Mount-Trembant and visit Paris. Whether you are also in your golden years and need a companion to stay active with, or just want a right-hand-gal to share your life with, this pup is sure to be everything you could wish for and more.

Petite Puce's previous owner loved her dearly but passed away and left her homeless, her dying wish was for her family to take care of Puce and make sure she is happy, healthy and well loved. The family who inherited her, tried be the family that would live up to this promise, but in the end they realized to be able to live up to their promise - they would have to re-home her. She needed more affection, attention and exercise than they had time for and in turn was miserable with them.

He enjoys chasing toys (often jumping great heights and distances to catch the toy, hence his name) and climbing things, especially your shoulders and back when given the opportunity. He is sociable, both with people and other cats, and very affectionate, often greeting you when you return home, following you around the house, or curling up near you as you work.

Hello my name is lauren connell-whitney, I have lost my cat please could you post his poster or keep an eye open for your new animals.

His name is Little Cat or Thirteen but has never answered to a name.

He is an outdoor cat, and usually comes back every night, but i was away this weekend and someone left him out overnight. He was last seen at on Saturday 3rd december night, at De la Montagne and Wellington. He weighs about 10-12 pounds, is a grey striped tabby with two short white sock on his front paws, and two tall white socks on his back paws. He has a diamond white patch on his forehead, with a little white tip on his nose. He has green eyes. A bit of white on his chest.

He was not wearing a collar, he always manages to get them off. He is neutered, is not declawed, and i noticed the other day that one of his front inscisor teeth is broken slightly, i believe it is his left one. He is microchipped with the home again system his ID# 985121006261460

here is the best picture i can give for now. He is a very cuddly cat SOMETIMES, but still gets freaked out with too much attention. he is quite skiddish.

Please please let me know if i can do anything else. My phone number is 438 889 3776 and my email is 13livesdesign@gmail.com

if you cannot get a hold of me call my boyfriend jesse 514 444 1281
